Anton's style is also considered representational abstraction – depictions of the West masterfully painted in oil. 

Nowels is both a Signature Member of Oil Painters of America (OPA) and American Impressionist Society (AIS).

Anton just won 'Best of Show' at the 2025 Sedona Plein Air Festival.
