Lisa Marseglia-Moran
A defining feature of this artist's style is her innovative use of handmade paper in mixed media works. This technique involves combining a variety of media, including handmade paper, ink, watercolor, thread, metal, sand and water to create deeply textured collages that represent both the simple beauty and complexity of the natural world.
Though raised on the East Coast, Lisa Marseglia-Moran has always found herself drawn to the Southwest. Hiking throughout New Mexico and Arizona has provided an unlimited amount of inspiration for her work. Each element of art; Color, shape, line and texture is exceptionally apparent in the unmatched beauty of the desert.
