Contemporary figurative Western artist Terry Cooke Hall brings inspiration to Mountain Trails Gallery with new paintings from her ‘Timeless West’ collection. Terry is known for her complex pattern paintings influenced by the colorful pageantry of Montana’s intertribal Crow Fair Days Parade.  Also inspiring are detailed figurative paintings and sculpture honoring various native cultures by award-winning gallery artists.

Characters from the American West

 

 

Featuring sculpture and paintings by award winning artists who are inspired by the history and legends of the American West and who capture notable traits such as a character’s unique essence distinctive to an individual, including Buffalo Bill Cody, Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, Warcloud, Custer, and more. Bronze sculpture by Dustin Payne, CA, paintings by Krystii Melaine are also featured.  Also honoring Cowgirl Up! artists Lisa DanielleSusan KliewerMarcia Molnar, as well as Krystii Melaine

1st Friday Gallery Tour


 

On the 1st Friday of each month, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, members of the Sedona Gallery Association, including Mountain Trails Galleries, offer a unique monthly showcase highlighting artists, special exhibits, and art events.

 

These special art receptions give locals and Sedona visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while beginning their weekends with an exploration of Sedona’s exciting art scene.

Winter Light:  Painting and Sculpture  

Mountain Trails Gallery celebrates new horizons of 2018 with landscape paintings of sparkling snow in Red Rock Country, warm sunrises, and colorful sunsets by award-winning Western artists. Also, story-telling bronze sculpture, still life paintings and figurative realism.  New bronze sculpture by Cowboy Artists of American member Dustin Payne.  Showcasing the work of National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame artist Donna Howell-Sickles.

 

FEBRUARY 2018

Mountain Trails Gallery welcomes the warm air of Spring and the opportunity to celebrate the revival and renaissance of classical painting and sculpture. Artists who are fascinated with vigorous figurative drawing, painting and sculpting the human anatomy, architecture, and nature are refreshed with new learning and wisdom. Featured are cityscapes, landscapes, and figurative paintings by Richard Boyer, Oil Painters of America award-winning artist and signature member of the American Society of Marine Artists.

The month of May brings the warmth and fun of “Painting & Sculpting with Humor” at Mountain Trails Gallery. It has been said that humor and laughter is therapeutic and cathartic, relieves stress, and can boost your health. Artists at Mountain Trails Gallery are no strangers to this corresponding quality of creativity in their working life. Featuring artists who surprise, delight, and are often immersed in humor including Jason Napier who captures the essence of animal nature in his festive, colorful, and amusing wildlife sculpture.
