Featuring landscape paintings of the mountains, forests, canyons and vistas of the West including the Grand Canyon, the Red Rock Country of Arizona and Utah, Native American scenes, wildlife, cowgirls, cowboys, ranch life, the natural environment, and more. Plein air artists Betty Carr, Bill Cramer, Joshua Been, Susie Hyer, Marcia Molnar, Gregory Stocks, and Howard Carr are also featured.

Inspired by Tradition

 

Mountain Trails Gallery continues its 30 year tradition of exhibiting painting and sculpture that highlight the deep roots of our American Western heritage, with stories of the great explorers, the cowboy way of life, as well as the richness of the Native American culture.  More than 40 artists bring these stories to life with their own unique style and use of color. 

 

1st Friday Gallery Tour


 

On the 1st Friday of each month, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, members of the Sedona Gallery Association, including Mountain Trails Galleries, offer a unique monthly showcase highlighting artists, special exhibits, and art events.

 

These special art receptions give locals and Sedona visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while beginning their weekends with an exploration of Sedona’s exciting art scene.

 

For your convenience, the Sedona Trolley provides free transportation to venture from art gallery to art gallery (with the exception of galleries in West Sedona).

Winter Treasures:  Painting and Sculpture

Featuring furry wildlife by Jennifer O’Coulain, Amy Lay, and Corrina Johnson; spirited horses by Marcia Molnar, Sarah Phippen, Vicki Catapano, and Maria D’Angelo; warm colorful tipis by Mark Gibson and Jim Hagstrom; backyard bronze birds by Bryce Pettit, and other dynamic wildlife sculpture by Mark Edward Adams, Raymond Gibby, and Jason Napier.

For the Love of Color in Sculpture & Painting 

Featuring the colorful sculpture of David Lemon, Jason Napier, and Bryce Pettit from Native American history to wildlife.  Also featuring the colorful paintings of Andrew Bolam, Troy Collins, Terry Cooke Hall, Amy Lay, Marcia Molnar, David Jonason, Donna Howell-Sickles, and more of Southwestern historical icons, landscapes, wildlife, cowboys, cowgirls, and the Grand Canyon.

Williams will take the lead in continuing the gallery’s more than 30-year tradition of offering the finest in Western painting and sculpture.  With more than a quarter century of experience in the fine arts, Julie continues Mountain Trails Gallery’s legacy of offering quality of styles and subject matter including figurative, wildlife, still-life, and landscapes, as well as work featuring western artifacts, historical narratives, and cultural objects.
