Joining the group of traditional and contemporary jewelry artists at Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona in the always festive Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village is Daniela Galovic who is in love with turquoise. Creating jewelry using some of the best mines for turquoise, Daniela celebrates each stone as a landscape painting, or a deep reflecting pool of water, giving these gems the top honor in her sterling silver designs.
"I was born in Germany but grew up soaking up the sun in Arizona. I love spending time in nature, whether I’m hiking, fishing, hunting, or just messing around in my garden. Having a background in Southwest Native American culture and a love for turquoise has really helped me develop an eye for quality jewelry. I can’t resist wearing turquoise. It makes me feel connected to the beauty of nature and the rich cultural heritage it represents."--D.G.
Sparkling with so much turquoise and more, the gallery invites art enthusiasts and jewelry lovers to explore all the vibrant bracelets, rings, necklaces, pendants, and earrings that represent the cultural and spiritual significance of our region by Daniela Galovic.
