Arizona rancher and Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona artist Shawn Cameron was just awarded the Best of Show "Steel Dust" Award at the American Quarter Horse Museum in Amarillo, Texas. The exhibition honors the Quarter Horse through various mediums including oil, bronze, graphite, charcoal, colored pencil and watercolor.
"My own family's involvement in the American Quarter Horse Association is long and deep for cattle ranching, horse racing, horse shows, rodeo, and various breeding programs have been part of our lives for well over a century in Arizona. My deep roots made this museum and show special to me and family members attending. Comforting to know our family is continuing this journey," said Cameron about the event and her own heartfelt experiences.
