SPECIAL EVENT: Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona in Tlaquepaque celebrated the month of October with Colors of the West with a spotlight on Celebrating Arizona! In addition to the exhibition, a stellar group of award-winning artists participated in a Q&A Panel Discussion including a fundraiser for the Grand Canyon Conservancy’s Emergency Relief Fund . This outstanding group of eight artists, who are mesmerized with desert landscapes, the region’s wildlife, Native American cultures, as well as historic treasures, all captured their paintings for this event with remarkable storytelling qualities inspired by history as well as present-day observations and motivations.
Artists in attendance for this Special Event’s reception included Western painter and sculptor Ryan A. Smith, Arizona painters Anton Nowels, Gregory Stocks, Jerry Salinas, Lydia Gatzow, Linda Glover Gooch, and Sue Krzyston, along with the gallery’s eminent sculptor Susan Kliewer who were all a part of the Q&A discussion on Fresh Perspectives on Western Art and more! The exhibition included contemporary and traditional paintings that offered exceptional vibrancy to landscapes, intricate still lifes, complex portraits, dynamic florals, as well as nuanced patinas on a variety of colorful bronze sculptures.
Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona in the always beautiful Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village is proud to represent all these fine artists.
